Volunteer Opportunities and Duties

The Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac is always looking for energetic people to tutor and assist afterschool programs

Whether you are a high school or college student, Club parent, or member of the retired community, you have an opportunity to get involved! Please review the following information then click on the link to the volunteer application:

Program Sites:

Johnsonville Club, Chegwin Elementary School, Pier Elementary School,
 

Hours of Operation:

3:00-6:00, Monday through Friday at Johnsonville Tee
2:30-7:00, Monday through Friday at the Teen Center
2:30-5:30, Monday through Friday at Chegwin and Pier

Commitment:

You can choose as few or as many hours as you would like to volunteer. For planning purposes, we just ask that you schedule your time with the Unit Director at your location.

Duties:

Volunteers may be asked to do a wide range of things, including: helping in meal prep, assisting in the facilitation of programs, homework help and tutoring, clean up in activity areas, front door monitoring, etc. If you have a specific skill or would like to lead a specialized program, please notify the Unit Director.

February 9, 2012 | Pier and Chegwin Closed

Pier and Chegwin are closed due to the 1/2 day of school. The Johnsonville Site will be open 11:30-5:00pm for all members. Please call ahead to register your child. If you have questions please call 920-924-0530.

February 10, 2012 | Pier and Chegwin Closed

The Pier and Chegwin sites will be closed for the non-school day. The Johnsonville site will be open from 9-5pm for all Club members. Please call ahead to register your children to attend. For more information, call 924-0530.

February 16, 2012 | Multicultural Event

The Boys & Girls Club will be holding it's 6th Annual Multicultural Event to celebrate the many cultures that exist in our community and beyond. The event is free to anyone who would like to attend. There will be booths and presenters with food and activities for the entire family, so come on out to the Club and join in the fun!
