Fond du Lac Area United Way

Boys & Girls Club has received generous allocations from United Way to allow us to provide the best programming possible for participating youth.  Boys & Girls Club staff members have also volunteered their time to help with United Way special events like the golf outing.  For more information about the Fond du Lac Area United Way, please check their webite at www.fdlunitedway.org.   

Fond du Lac Family YMCA

The Boys & Girls Club and Fond du Lac Family YMCA are making a revolutionary and unique step forward in collaboration by building a new joint facility in downtown Fond du Lac.  The facility will house both organizations with the intention of creating a facility that can provide services for people of all ages.  The project should be completed in the Fall of 2010, resulting in a new facility that is sure to bring more excitement and opportunities for area families. Fond du Lac School District

The Fond du Lac school district has played an integral role in allowing the Boys & Girls Club to become the program that it is today.  In partnership with the FDL District, the Boys & girls Club has recieved over $2 million in grant funds that have supported the afterschool programming located at seven Fond du Lac Schools.  The School District administrators and Boys & Girls Club Staff are in constant communication about how we can best serve youth and familes after school.  Form more information about the Fond du Lac School District and it's programs, please visit www.fonddulac.k12.wi.us.

Fond du Lac County 4H Program

The 4H program has been providing fun and educational activities at our K-5 locations each month for the past few years.  Youth in our programs are given an opportunity to see what 4H is all about, as well as learn new and exciting things.  Also, the Boys & Girls Club and 4H have partnered with JC Penney for funding to enroll Hispanic and Hmong youth in programming, while providing extra support for those youth with language learning assistance.  For more information on Fond du Lac 4H, please check out www.fdl4h.org.

Wisconsin Nutrition Education Program

WNEP provides volunteers to facilitate community nutrition programs that include activities like reading, making recipies, and cooking snacks or meals.  For more information on the UW Extension or WNEP, check out their website at http://fonddulac.uwex.edu/wnep/index.html.

Creative Care Options

This branch of Fond du Lac County services has partnered with the Boys & Girls Club for more than three years in providing programs to people with special needs and/or disabilities.  The P.A.L.S. program, which is now running for it's fourth year, is an after school initiative for high school students with mild to moderate cognitive disabilities.  The program provides fun and educational activities designed to get youth involved in the community, as well as develop solid peer relationships.  For more information about services provided by Creative Care options, go to their website at www.fdlco.wi.gov/Index.aspx?page=59.

Fond du Lac Area Foundation

Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts

These Scouts programs have been providing fun and educational activities at our K-5 locations each month for the past few years.  Youth in our programs are given an opportunity to see what being a Boy or Girl Scout is all about, as well as become an active participant in other Scout programming.  For more information, please visit their website at www.scouting.org or www.gsmanitou.org.

Aramark

In partnership with the Fond du Lac School District, Aramark provide an evening meal or snack to all of our K-5 programs at no cost to the organization or the families in which we serve.  The ability to provide a meal or snack to youth everyday a is a tremendous service, and is very appreciated by the youth and families.  For more information regarding Aramark, check out their website, www.aramark.com.

Volunteer Center of Fond du Lac

Besides providing the Club with countless valuable volunteers, staff members from the Center come to lead community involvement and leadership activities with youth of all ages.  For more information, check out their website at www.1-800-volunteer.org.

Brown Boots Interactive

Not only has Brown Boots been the lead marketing company for our Capital Campaign with the YMCA, they have also worked tirelessly to aid in the construction and completion of this website.  Their time and talents have allowed up to promote what we do to the community on a much wider and effective scale.  For more information about their company, check out their website at www.brownboots.com.

Great Lakes Higher Education Corp.

The Boys & Girls Club has started an exciting partnership with Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation and Affiliates to enhance a tutoring program held at four locations in the city of Fond du Lac. Great Lakes has contributed $12,000 to enhance the capability of the tutoring programs to take on additional youth and create the best possible environment for learning. The programs, held at all three public middle schools as well as the Boys & Girls Club Teen Center, are aimed at helping youth achieve academically to the best of their ability.   For more information about their company, check out their website at www.mygreatlakes.com.

Pier and Chegwin are closed due to the 1/2 day of school. The Johnsonville Site will be open 11:30-5:00pm for all members. Please call ahead to register your child. If you have questions please call 920-924-0530.

The Boys & Girls Club will be holding it's 6th Annual Multicultural Event to celebrate the many cultures that exist in our community and beyond. The event is free to anyone who would like to attend. There will be booths and presenters with food and activities for the entire family, so come on out to the Club and join in the fun!
